D-Xylose

As white crystal or white crystalline powder, D-Xylose has the sweetness that is equivalent to 70% of saccharose's. As a food additive, D-Xylose is an essential food ingredient in our food supply. It can be used in biology culture, tanning, dyeing and diabetic food. Different from daily fructose and glucose, D-Xylose can not provide calory for human body. But it has good proliferation effect for the bifidobacterium in human intestines. It also can improve the human micro-ecological environment and enhance the body immunity. Mainly used to make xylitol, it is widely applicable to food processing and pharmaceutical industry.
