China Gelatin Manufacturer Foodmate Joins Industry Experts to Advance Quality Standards and Global Compliance
On August 6, 2026, Foodchem & Foodmate participated in the Gelatin Industry Quality Analysis and Standards Seminar held in Shanghai, China.
Organized by the Gelatin Branch of the China Daily Chemicals Association and the Subcommittee on Collagen and Gelatin of the Technical Committee for Group Standards, the seminar gathered representatives from industry associations, research institutions and companies across the gelatin supply chain to discuss global gelatin quality standards, regulatory developments and future industry trends.

Based on major global standards, including GB 6783, Chinese Pharmacopoeia, European Pharmacopoeia (EP), United States Pharmacopeia (USP) and Japanese Pharmacopoeia (JP), Ms. Wang compared differences in regulatory requirements, quality evaluation systems and testing methodologies across international markets.
She also shared Foodmate’s integrated quality management approach, covering:
